My name is Michael. I have been in the mental health field since 2006, a therapist since 2010 and in Private Practice since 2014. Your journey has brought you here. Have a look around. The choice you’re about to make is deeply personal. As an experienced Licensed Professional Counselor, I have worked in outpatient settings, residential settings, school settings and the community at large. These experiences provide the knowledge and understanding that is imperative to partnering with people from a variety of backgrounds and ensuring positive outcomes.   

  

I believe in a calm, cool and collected approach that utilizes our strengths to build a strong foundation. Through the process of identifying strengths and creating that foundation, you will begin to increase your ability to lean on these strengths when needed and to allow yourself grace during a moment of difficulty.   

  

Through the utilization of virtual sessions, I am able to create a welcoming environment that permits the consideration and utilization of methods that aid with complete exploration of one’s self. It allows for each person to identify where they will be most comfortable for the session and be there the whole time. Virtual therapy also increases access throughout the day, opposed to needing to account for travel time and other potential delays.
